When considering solar it’s important to explore all of your financing and savings options. Our project advisors are committed to helping you find the best deals for your solar system.

3

Site Survey
We will visit your residence and conduct a site survey of your property. This is to accurately choose product placement, confirm design layout, and determine if existing roof support can withstand the weight of solar panels.

Permitting & Interconnections

When it comes to permitting and interconnection, our team works directly with your energy provider and your specific city to get you through the process as swiftly and smoothly as possible. This step typically takes the longest, usually between 5 to 7 weeks.

Interconnection Application

Interconnection is one of the most important steps in your solar installation. It’s the process your utility provider uses to review the solar equipment and system size to ensure it meets all safety standards. It also confirms that the local power grid can handle any excess energy your system may produce, ensuring everything operates safely.

City & State Permits

Electrical and building permits are required in most cities. We apply for permits in concert with the interconnection application process.

Installing Your System

1. Delivery
Solar materials will arrive at your residence before install day.
2. Installation

The Final Steps: Inspection & Testing

1

Final Inspections
Once the installation is complete, we will schedule an electrical and building inspection for approval. These inspections are to ensure the new install is safe for use.

2

Witness Test
Next, we schedule a technician from your energy provider and a member of PGS to meet and run a final safety test on your system to make sure everything runs smoothly.

3

Your System Gets Turned On!
If your system passes the witness test, we’ll leave it up and running so you can start producing your own clean energy!

System Monitoring

This is the last step in the solar installation process. Within 48 hours of your system passing the witness test a member of Powerfully Green Solar, will contact you on how to monitor your solar production.

Once you understand system monitoring, it’s smooth sailing from here on out and you can sit back, relax and let the sun power your home!
